LIBRARY LENDING RULES

  1. Only the volumes in the JGSWS Library that are indicated in the Library Database as "circulating" may be borrowed from the library.
  2. Only members in good standing with a phone number and/or an e-mail address (preferable) may check out circulating volumes. No exceptions.
  3. To check out a volume, a member should request an eligible, circulating volume from the book list (above), which will also be e-mailed to all members.
  4. The request should be made to the JGSWS Librarian, currently Rabbi Doug Slotnick, and/or a Library Committee member, either at the conclusion of a JGSWS meeting or via e-mail. At this time, the Library Committee consists of Rabbi Slotnick (ravvinzlotnik@seanet.com) and Phyllis Grossman (phyllisg@jgsws.org). New volunteers are welcome!
  5. The requested volume can picked up and returned only at scheduled meetings (regular meeting or Board meeting).
  6. All volumes will be loaned for one month only.
  7. A notation will made on the card inside the book as well as an identical card that stays with the Librarian.
  8. If the volume is not returned on time, the Librarian will call and/or e-mail the member to arrange immediate drop-off.
