- Only the volumes in the JGSWS Library that are indicated in the Library Database as "circulating" may be borrowed from the library.
- Only members in good standing with a phone number and/or an e-mail address (preferable) may check out circulating volumes. No exceptions.
- To check out a volume, a member should request an eligible, circulating volume from the book list (above), which will also be e-mailed to all members.
- The request should be made to the JGSWS Librarian, currently Rabbi Doug Slotnick, and/or a Library Committee member, either at the conclusion of a JGSWS meeting or via e-mail. At this time, the Library Committee consists of Rabbi Slotnick (ravvinzlotnik@seanet.com) and Phyllis Grossman (phyllisg@jgsws.org). New volunteers are welcome!
- The requested volume can picked up and returned only at scheduled meetings (regular meeting or Board meeting).
- All volumes will be loaned for one month only.
- A notation will made on the card inside the book as well as an identical card that stays with the Librarian.
- If the volume is not returned on time, the Librarian will call and/or e-mail the member to arrange immediate drop-off.
